ARTIST NOTES: This artwork was inspired to me by my Grandmother, she had recently passed away but all that sticks to me in my memories of her is her incredible strength and beauty even during the darkest hours. whilst growing up in galiwin'ku we were always careful of the ocean as we did not know what dangers were hiding in the depth of the sea, the jelly fish has always been a majestically creature that has incredible strength and beauty in the dark depth of the ocean, there for being the best way to represent my Grandmother in honor of her passing.
