Like most artists, I've been drawing and painting since childhood. It was only later in life that I was able find time to attend art classes with an Adelaide Artist. There I met many like minded students, some of whom I still paint with today. I still attend workshops occasionally.
My focus is on landscapes, some seascapes, anything that I find interesting, and sometimes subjects that are a bit quirky. Having spent my childhood in coastal Queensland, I have always loved lush green rainforests, bright tropical flowers and undergrowth. Living in Adelaide has taught me that there are many other kinds of beauty, clean white beaches and the beautiful outback.
Favourite mediums are oils and some penwork and I love to experiment with abstract art. |
